Bujji (Prabhas) and Chitti (Trisha) are good childhood friends, but after a falling out Chitti asks Bujji not to see her again for 12 years, however, she promises to marry him after 12 years. Bujji then goes to live in Chennai and becomes a goonda. How both the contrast characters meet again and get together is the main story.
