Bimbisara got a blockbuster response from the Telugu audience right from the early morning shows. The film’s theatrical rights were sold at a price of 13 crores in the Telugu states and overseas. Bimbisara managed to clear the breakeven in just three days and started making profits. All the distributors are so happy with these blockbuster collections. Bimbisara ran very well at the box office, even on Monday. As per the sources, Bimbisara collected 18 crores for 4 days from all centres, resulting in a profit of 5 crores.

Bimbisara will be a film franchise with three parts, as stated by the lead actor Kalyan Ram. With part one receiving a massive response and record collections, Kalyan Ram was eager to begin pre-production on the sequel as soon as possible, and he also wanted to make Bimbisara Part 2 on a grand scale.
