Sita Ramam, the upcoming Telugu movie starring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles of Lieutenant Ram and Sita Mahalakshmi, is going to be released this weekend on August 5th. The film belongs to the war backdrop set in 1965 and unfolds as a beautiful romantic drama as seen in the trailer. The film’s trailer got a very good reception from the audience and in return, the audience are waiting eagerly to get some feel-good experience of love and war in theatres after the release of the film. Meanwhile, the film unit is promoting the film with back-to-back promotional tours in different cities. After completing the promotions of Sita Ramam in the cities of Hyderabad and Vijayawad, the film unit participated in a promotional event conducted at Vizag yesterday.

Sita Ramam movie team got an immense reception and response at the Vizag promotional event. To give something back for the love of the Vizag people, the film unit decided to hold a roadshow on Vizag’s beach road. The lead actors of the film, Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur, and the other main actor, Sumanth, participated in the road show. They waved their hands at the people of Vizag and showered their love in return for the response Vizag gave to their film. The makers of the film posted the visuals from the roadshow on their Twitter handle and called it “Ocean of Love”. They also thanked Vizag for a cheerful reception.

Sita Ramam is Dulquer Salmaan’s second direct Telugu movie after impressing the Telugu audience with his first, Mahanati. Sita Ramam is produced by the same makers who made Mahanati. Swapna Cinema produced Sita Ramam and Vyjayanthi Movies is presenting it. Aswani Dutt is the producer of the film. Tollywood’s top actress, Rashmika Mandanna, played a special role in the film. Directors Tharun Bhascker and Gautham Vasudev Menon also played prominent roles. Hanu Raghavapudi is the director of the film. Vishal Chandrashekhar composed the music for the film. Sita Ramam is going to be released on August 5th worldwide in the languages of Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
