Kumkumala song is the Telugu version of Kesariya song, the first single from Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s upcoming movie Brahmastra, as known to us all. The song teaser was released long back at the time of Ranbir and Alia’s wedding season. The teaser of the original along with its dubbed versions got immense love across India. There were repeated requests by the audience to the makers for the release of the full song. The full song of Kesariya (Kumkumala) was released last Sunday, and since then, the beautiful melody has been spreading its love across the nation in multiple languages. It became the love anthem of the year. Just like the original, the Telugu version, Kumkumala, is getting lots of love from the Telugu audience. Recently, Tollywood actress Samantha fell in love with the song and started playing it on loop.
Kumkumala song became the soulful track that has been played mostly on many playlists for the last few days. Samantha does the same. She added Kumkumala song to her playlist in a loop mode and is listening to it repeatedly. The actress is obsessed with the song, and she stated the same about the song on her Instagram story. “Obsessed. This song is everything. Alia Bhatt, I cannot wait for Brahmastra“. These are the lines quoted by Samantha by sharing a screenshot of playing Kumkumala on her mobile.
Kumkumala song is composed by Pritam, the music director for the original soundtrack of the Brahmastra movie. Sid Sriram gave his mesmerising vocals for the song. Chandrabose penned some heartfelt and meaningful lyrics. The song won the hearts of the Telugu audience. It is trending at number 5 on YouTube music with 4.5 million views. whereas the original, Kesariya song became the nation’s love anthem and is currently trending at number two on YouTube music.
Brahmastra is just not a Bollywood film that’s being dubbed into Telugu. It has many more special features to be connected to the Telugu audience. Our very own King Nagarjuna played a prominent role in the film. The director Ayan Mukerji himself said that he has a lot of respect for the Telugu audience for their love of good cinema, be it in any language, and so he wanted Brahmastra to reach every Telugu audience. Tollywood’s top director, SS Rajamouli, is presenting the film. Ranbir Kapoor had come all the way from Mumbai to Vizag for a special event and interacted with his fans. He is the first actor to do so. Alia Bhatt, who became our very own Seeta with RRR, has learnt the Telugu language and sang the Kumkumala song along with Sid Sriram recently to show her love for the Telugu audience. Summing up all these, it can be clearly stated that Brahmastra is not just a dubbed Bollywood film, but it’s beyond that with lots of love.
