The Warriorr Movie Review:
Story:
Satya MBBS (Ram Pothineni) is a very determined and dedicated doctor by profession. He gets transferred to the city of Kurnool, where Guru (Aadhi) is a very fierce and violent gangster. Satya goes against Guru in every step and fails. Later, he turns into a cop to face Guru. How was Satya MBBS turned into Satya IPS? How did he take on Guru? All these elements get unfolded as the story progresses.
On-Screen Performances:
Ram Pothineni excelled on screen in both the shades of Satya MBBS and Satya IPS. His two different looks and body language for two different shades are very exciting to watch. Ram as a cop in the film is very intense. His dialogue delivery with an intense voice is an add-on for the film. The Warriorr will surely stand as the career’s best action performance from Ram.
Aadhi Pinisetty as Guru in The Warriorr plays one of the best villains in Telugu cinema in recent times. There is a lot of intensity in his eyes and expressions during the scenes of the face-off with Ram and other action scenes. Aadhi got one of the best entries in his career as Guru in this film. He will surely add some more mass fans to his list with this film.
Krithi Shetty is perfectly suited to the role of RJ Whistle Mahalakshmi. She brings energy to the character and the film. She looks like a perfect match alongside Ram on screen. Krithi’s dance moves in the Whistle song, matching the pace and energy of Ram, are very appreciable. Her chemistry with Ram in the first half of the film is one of the best parts of the film.
Brahmaji is quite good in his role as a subordinate to Ram.
Off-Screen Highlights:
Director Lingusamy is back in action form. Though he chose a regular story, it was all his screenplay and direction that played out perfectly for the film and impressed the audience. The racy mass action scenes and the paced screenplay are the greatest advantages for the film from the director’s side. Also, the characterizations of both Satya and Guru came out very well. The romantic sequences in the first half, the interval block, and the police station scenes in the second half are the best parts of Lingusamy’s writing.
The crazy twist in the interval block where Ram reveals his true identity as Satya IPS instead of being Satya MBBBS in the entire first half is a great move by the director. Though the twist was known to us from the trailer of the film, the way Lingusamy handled it with his screenplay and direction matters the most here and becomes the strength of the film’s output. The second half of the film is completely about Satya and Guru’s face off.
Devi Sri Prasad proves once again with The Warriorr film that he is the best in the business when it comes to delivering a mass album and background score. The two songs in the second half, Bullet Song and Whistle Song, stand as the highlights of the entire music album. Also, DSP gave some powerful tracks for the face-off between Ram and Aadhi.
The action scenes in the film are a treat to watch. They’re all on high voltage, especially during the climax fight. Credit goes to the stunt director, Anbariv, for composing some of the best action scenes in the film.
Endnote:
The Warriorr is a high-voltage action film with the ultimate face-off between Ram and Aadhi. The film is completely about Satya and Guru going against each other with their extreme energies. The power-packed performances from Ram and Aadhi added a great strength to Lingusamy’s vision, and the output was just outstanding. The Warriorr is a great choice for mass action film lovers this weekend. The thirst for your entertainment will be filled by the energies of Ram and Aadhi in the film.
