Kalyan Ram is celebrating his 44th birthday today. So the makers of his upcoming movie, Bimbisara, released the trailer of the film yesterday, on the eve of the actor’s birthday. The trailer looks very impressive, and it is so obvious that Kalyan Ram is going to make a strong comeback with this film. The film’s trailer suggests that the film is going to be technically sound and that the content looks very strong. The makers of Bimbisara conducted an event yesterday to launch the trailer. Kalyan Ram shared a few interesting things about the film and revealed the premise of the film.
At the trailer launch event for Bimbisara, during his speech, Kalyan Ram said that he loves fantasy films a lot. He said that he grew up watching a lot of Chandamama stories like films, and they had a huge impact on him. Kalyan Ram’s favourite films are Paathala Bhairavi and Jagadeka Veeruni Katha of Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao, Bhairava Dweepam and Aditya 369 of Nandamuri Balakrishna, and Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari of Chiranjeevi, which belong to the social fantasy genre. Kalyan Ram also said that he loved Jr NTR’s Yamadonga, Ram Charan’s Magadheera and Prabhas’s Baahubali a lot in the current generation of films. Kalyan Ram revealed that Bimbisara too belongs to the socio fantasy genre, with the addition of the time travel concept. He thanked every actor and technician who worked so hard on the film. Kalyan Ram dedicated the film to his grandfather, the legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao.
Bimbisara is written and directed by Vashist. Hari Krishna K produced the film under the banner of NTR Arts. Catherina Tresa and Samyuktha Menon are the lead actresses in the film. Chirrantan Bhatt composed the songs for the film. MM Keeravani composed the background score. Chota K Naidu is the cinematographer, and Tammi Raju is the editor. Bimbisara is going to be released next month on August 5th.
