Akash Puri’s Chor Bazaar is going to be released tomorrow in theatres. Akash is very confident about this film as he tried some action this time, changing gears from the regular romantic films he did in the past. Also, Akash is confident in the director Jeevan Reddy’s writing and vision. The actor spoke to the media today as a part of promoting his film and shared a few interesting things about the film.
Akash Puri said that Chor Bazaar is a perfect film to explore and establish himself as an actor with more scope than just sticking to regular love stories. He revealed that he played the role of a thug in the film. “I am a local hero of a place in the film,” said Akash.
Speaking about his character Bachchan Saab in the film, Akash said, “Director Jeevan Reddy gave me a narration for about 5 hours. I was very impressed with the story and the way it was dealt with in the first narration itself. I fell in love with the character, Bachchan Saab. Actually, the designation of the character was what made me accept the film immediately. I am very thankful to Jeevan Reddy for making me Bachchan Saab and giving me Chor Bazaar,” said Akash Puri to the media.
Chor Bazaar is produced by VS Raju under the banner of IV Productions. Gehnna Sippy is the lead actress. Sunil, Subbaraju, and Sampoornesh Babu played prominent roles in the film. Suresh Bobbili is the music director. Jagadeesh Cheekati is the cinematographer, and Anwar Ali is the editor. UV Creations is releasing the film.
