The film Major is a tribute to Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the hero of 26/11 Mumbai attacks of 2008. Adivi Sesh played the role of Major Sandeep in the film. It is a better way to say that he lived in that role, instead of saying he played that role. Such a brilliant performance was given by Sesh. Not only Sesh, every other member of the film needs a lot of applause for making this genuine attempt and giving the audiences an inspiring film. Sesh had a special screening for Sandeep’s parents in Hyderabad this morning and they loved the film very much.
Major Sandeep’s parents felt very emotional after watching the biopic on their son. They recollected many memories they had with their son. They congratulated the entire team of Major for the success of the film. Sandeep’s father spoke to the media after watching the film. Here is what he said about his son and the film made on his son. “We watched the film just now and the film is very excellent. I congratulate the entire team for making this film with pure heart. After watching this film, we could get a lot of relief from the pain of losing our son. Many think that Sandeep left us all, but it didn’t happen. He motivated us all by fighting till his last breath and the motivation stays with us forever. The entire team deserves a lot of appreciation. Every aspect of the film including the music, sound, cinematography, editing and acting are all good. I am proud to be here in Hyderabad watching my son’s film with you all. I will be coming to Hyderabad frequently from here on,” said Sandeep’s father.
