Nikhil Siddhartha is getting back with a banger sequel of a blockbuster hit film Karthikeya. The film is titled Karthikeya 2. The film recently completed the production and is currently in the post-production phase. The Telugu audiences are very much excited about the sequel of the mystery film. Recently, the director of the film, Chandoo Mondeti spoke to the media and shared a few interesting things about the film. He also revealed the story idea of the sequel and mentioned what all elements will be present in the sequel.
Chandoo Mondeti said that the lead actor Nikhil Siddhartha supported him a lot throughout the production of Karthikeya 2. The film was stopped several times due to the pandemic or else it might have been released in the last October itself. The film was shot in many countries including Hyderabad, Vizag, Dwaraka, Rann Of Kutch, Himachal Pradesh, Greece, Rome, and Himalayas. The film was halted in the pandemic as it was very difficult to travel places for the shooting, as said by Chandoo Mondeti. The director also revealed that the film was shot just in 61 working days and only the patch up works were left. The patch up works will be shot in the next month. The re-recording works are in progress currently. Chandoo also revealed the story idea and other elements of the film. “The first part of Karthikeya is a mystery film where Karthik (Nikhil) will be solving the mystery behind the temple. The sequel deals with the personal problems of Karthik and how he comes out of them. Also the film will be dealing with our ancestors and their thought process in comparison with the current generation and globalisation,” said Chandoo Mondeti about the film Karthikeya 2.
The film is produced by Abhishek Aggarwal Arts in association with People Media Factory. Anupama Parameswaran is the lead actress. Bollywood actor Anupam Kher played a prominent role in the film. The film will be released in both Telugu and Hindi languages on 22nd July. Kaala Bhairava composed the music for the film.
