The actress was invited to Cannes Film Festival this year and she made her debut there at the premiere of Top Gun Maverick. Speaking at the Indian pavilion, Pooja said that it was her dream to be representing India at Cannes and she is now taking pride and honour to make that dream come true.
Pooja Hegde gave a heartfelt speech in the Indian Pavilion at Cannes Film Festival. “It’s my dream to walk at Cannes. I personally thank Anurag for making this possible. I have not come with a brand, but I have the brand India with me. I have come here representing India, and that is the biggest honour for me forever. To be very honest, I am here as an Indian actor celebrating Indian cinema,” said Pooja Hegde in the Indian pavilion. The pavilion also includes Tamannaah Bhatia, Deepika Padukone, R Madhavan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, AR Rahman, and others.
