Suma’s Jayamma Panchayathi is getting an immensely positive response from the Telugu audiences. The audiences are loving the character Jayamma, just like they loved Suma all these years. The film is also loved by the film fraternity. Jayamma Panchayathi stood as the winner among the films released last weekend. The story and execution, Suma’s characterization and performance, and all other technical aspects, everything worked out very well in making the film a huge blockbuster. Let us look at the highlights of the film which impressed the audience.
Highlights Of Jayamma Panchayathi:
The backdrop of the film Jayamma Panchayathi itself looks very impressive. The village setup, the design of the characters which are innocent and very pure at heart, and the bonding between the characters are very well established right from the beginning of the film. This is a major asset of the film from start to end.
Suma’s performance is the major highlight of the film. After Suma plays Jayamma, it is tough for the audience to imagine someone else in that role. Such an involving and apt performance is given by Suma. She delivered the best performance with perfection in all the little elements including body language, mannerism, and dialogue delivery. Suma excelled in delivering all kinds of emotions, showcasing her innocence, seriousness, anger, grief and the list goes on.
The maturity in the writing of the film is a great treat to watch. The writer and the director, Vijay Kumar designed every other main and supporting character equally strong along with the lead character. The conversations, emotions, and the bonding between the lead character and the other main and supporting characters are quite interesting to watch. The balance maintained between the establishment and existence of the characters throughout the film is another brilliance of the writing. Vijay Kumar also needs to be appreciated for his dialogue writing.
MM Keeravani’s background score looks so effective. His tunes perfectly sync with the village atmosphere in the film. Keeravani added another blockbuster soundtrack to his hit list.
Another interesting aspect of the film is the way that the director Vijay Kumar addressed and exposed the sufferings in North Andhra Pradesh to date. The Dalit atrocities, caste hierarchies, and medical burdens, everything else are dealt very well. The inclusion of the plot points like brahman boy falling in love with Dalit girl, infatuation between teenagers, and exposing Naxalism is a great move in terms of screenwriting.
