The most awaited period drama based on the Naxalite movement starring Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi is back in the headlines once again. The film was actually planned to be released in April 2021, but it got postponed due to COVID. Later, the film did not get a perfect date for release. Finally, the makers have now officially announced the release date for Virata Parvam.
After a long wait, the film Virata Parvam is finally going to be released this monsoon. The makers of the film announced officially on Twitter on 6th May that the film is going to be released on 1st July. “Witness the epic tale of Love and Revolution on the big screens this Monsoon. Virata Parvam grand theatrical release worldwide on 1st July,” wrote the makers on Twitter, while sharing a poster of Rana and Sai Pallavi from the film.

Virata Parvam is based on the Naxalite movement in Telangana in the 1990s. The film will deal with the revolution by the Naxals against politics. Also, the film will showcase the romance between the characters Vennela and Ravanna, played by Sai Pallavi and Rana respectively. Priyamani, Naveen Chandra, Nivetha Pethuraj, Eeswari Rao, and Sai Chand are the other prominent actors in the film.
Virata Parvam is written and directed by Venu Udugula. The film is produced by Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas and Suresh Productions. Sudhakar Cherukuri and Suresh Babu are the producers. Suresh Bobbili composed the music for the film. Dani Sanchez-Lopez handled the cinematography. Sreekar Prasad is the editor.
