Synopsis:

KRK: Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Samantha looked like a crazy love story right from the release of the first glimpse.  This Vignesh Shivan film was released on 28th April.  The film’s Telugu dubbed version was titled KRK: Kanmani Rambo Khatija.  This romantic comedy film is a love triangle between the characters Rambo, Kanmani, and Khatija.  The film has promised a perfect fun-filled family entertainer for the audience with the elements in the trailer.  Now, the film is getting the same positive response after its release in both Tamil and Telugu languages.  Let us look at the details, highlights, and review of the film KRK.

KRK Telugu Movie Review:

Story:

Rambo (Vijay Sethupathi), who works in two different professions day and night, believes that he brings bad luck to everyone.  He has never experienced love or romance in his life yet.  Kanmani (Nayanthara) and Khatija (Samantha) are very good friends to Rambo.  Both of them propose love to Rambo on the same day.  Rambo could not reject any of them and accepts them both in confusion.  How he handles the relationship with both of them after they get to know about him is the rest of the story.

On-Screen Performances:

Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Samantha, the three superstars of South Indian Cinema excel in their respective roles and give the audience an amazing experience.  Very few minutes into the film, we forget the actors completely and get attached to the characters.  Such involving performances are given by the three lead actors.  Vijay Sethupathi who is well known for his own style of delivering the comedy with extraordinary timing proved it once again in KRK with his character Rambo.  Both the lead actresses Nayanthara and Samantha look very gorgeous and they delivered their best as they always do.

Off-Screen Highlights:

Triangle love stories always excite the audience as they root for the characters mainly in the story.  Such a formula worked out for Vignesh Shivan again.  Though the director picked up the standard storyline for the film, his strength excels in writing and the presentation of the characters.  The audience will fall in love with the characters Rambo, Kanmani, and Khatija, more than the story.  The designing of the characters and time to time comedy scenes worked out very well for Vignesh Shivan.  Kathir and Vijay Karthik’s cinematography looks decent.  The camera work in the songs is very good.  Anirudh Ravichander made his mark again.  With KRK being his 25th film, Anirudh gave mesmerizing tunes, particularly the background score.

KRK is purely a treat from the three top actors Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Samantha.  The trio drives the film completely and steals the show.  Vignesh Shivan managed to make an impact again with his brilliant writing in the comedy.  The duo of Vignesh and Anirudh repeated their magic combination.  If you need some relief for the weekend from a film packed with a crazy story and great fun, then KRK is the perfect choice to provide you the wholesome entertainment.
