Mega Powerstar Ram Charan finally uncovered how he managed dates between RRR and Acharya. Charan had no dates due to his commitments with RRR, but he had to find time to play a key role in his father Chiranjeevi starrer Acharya.
In the same interview, Ram Charan and director Koratala Siva expressed their views about arranging Charan’s dates for Acharya. It’s difficult to get the hero’s dates when working with a huge director like Rajamouli, Koratala Siva confessed. “When Koratala sir approached me for the dates to shoot for Acharya, we were both terrified of approaching Rajamouli,” Charan explained.
Then it was Megastar Chiranjeevi himself, took initiation and met RRR director Rajamouli. Acharya successfully persuaded Jakkanna to let Charan go for a few days, so that he could finish Acharya. Ram Charan also revealed that it was his mother Surekha’s wish to see both his father and him together on-screen. The Magadheera actor credited her for convincing Chiru to cast him in Acharya.
Acharya stars Kajal Aggarwal, and Pooja Hegde as the female leads opposite Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, respectively, and is slated for its release on April 29th. Meanwhile, the pre-release event of Acharya is scheduled to be organised at Yousufguda Police Grounds in Hyderabad on 23rd of this month.
