KGF: Chapter 1 is best at its technical standards. The same would repeat for KGF: Chapter 2 and the film would be placed even at higher standards with the grandeur visuals, as said by the director Prashanth Neel. The director along with the lead actor Yash spoke about the stunning visuals of the film in a recent interview. They also spoke about the working style of the cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda for the film.
Speaking about the visuals of KGF: Chapter 2, the director Prashanth Neel said, “Bhuvan Gowda uses a very less number of lights for shooting. He follows the sun and uses the sunlight completely at his best. During the night shoots, he uses fire to fill the frame with light. That is the reason for the raw and rustic look”. Adding to Prashanth’s words about Bhuvan, Yash said that Bhuvan was actually the still photographer for Prashanth’s first movie Ugramm. Prashanth noticed his extreme skills of Bhuvan and gave him the chance as cinematographer for KGF: Chapter 1.
On the other hand, Bhuvan said that Prashanth encouraged him a lot and gave him a lot of comfort to shoot most of the film in natural light. Bhuvan feels that cinematography can make the audience feel their presence in the world of the film, only when it is capable of bringing the natural ambience. The Interval block and the final face-off in the climax between Rocky Bhai and Adheera are the two favorite portions in the film for Bhuvan Gowda. He is eagerly waiting to know the audience’s response after watching the film on the release day, which is 14th April 2022.
