Pan-Indian director S S Rajamouli visited the native town of Gond hero Komaram Bheem on Tuesday. It is already known that the Jr NTR character in the recent blockbuster RRR was inspired from the life of the tribal legend. Rajamouli, who attended the screening of RRR at Picturetime theatre in the town, also interacted with the people there.
Speaking at the event, Jakkanna said, “I am immensely delighted to be here and to witness all of this, to visit the great location of the movie RRR, which is based on Komaram Bheem’s life, whose role is played by Jr NTR. To visit the Komaram Bheem district itself is an amazing feeling altogether. I’m thankful to the management of Picturetime and the District Administration to make this possible”, Rajamouli stated.
The 1000 cr movie RRR : Roudram Ranam Rudhiram is Rajamouli’s directorial epic, virtualized on the lives of the revolutionary heroes Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem and the whole world is watching this. On the other hand, for the residents of Komaram Bheem’s native place Asifabad in Telangana, RRR is not just a film but an emotion. It is a chance for them to relive the story of their native hero, many of them opined.
