Young and talented actor Rahul Vijay made his debut in 2018 in Tollywood. Even after getting success with Suryakantham in 2019, the path did not change for the actor. Despite his hard work and his father being a well-settled technician in Tollywood, Rahul Vijay still faced many struggles in the industry. He talks about his struggles, interests, and projects in a recent interview.
Speaking about his career, Rahul Vijay said, “It was never easy for me to be selected as a lead actor in the films. Even though my father, Vijayan, was a noted technician in the South films for more than a decade, he always asked me to get opportunities on my own with my skills. I too choose the same path. My father was not even involved in my choice of films. He gave me complete creative freedom and every film of mine is totally my self-decision”.
Rahul Vijay said that he used to watch a lot of action films in his childhood and admired Jackie Chan a lot. He wishes to become an action hero soon. He also recollected the memories of learning kickboxing and martial arts during his childhood with his interest in action films. Rahul also wants to experiment with different genre films.
Rahul Vijay’s upcoming film is a romantic drama. Megha Akash is the lead actress. Abhimanyu Buddhi is the director. The film’s story is set in Hyderabad and Goa, as stated by Rahul Vijay.
