MegaPowerstar Ram Charan and Young Tiger Jr NTR starrer RRR has crossed Rs 1000 Cr marks at the worldwide box office and is still counting. Meanwhile, Salman Khan raised quite a few eyebrows when he said that movies made in the South do really well in Bollywood, but Hindi films don’t do well in the Southern film industry. RRR star Ram Charan recently went humble while reacting to the same.
Recently during an interview, Charan spoke about Indian Cinema being beyond boundaries. He was asked why Bollywood movies are indeed not as appreciated in the south, while movies like KGF, Pushpa: The Rise and RRR have broken records in the north.
The RRR star Ram Charan said, “I want a director from Hindi cinema to make a Pan-Indian film which caters to even the South. Salman Khan ji tweeted saying, he really loves me, Rajamouli and Jr NTR’s work but why are their films not being appreciated in South India. I believe it is not Salman Khan ji’s fault or some film’s fault.”
The Rangasthalam icon further elaborated, “Every writer should write movies like Vijayendra Prasad or SS Rajamouli and say ‘believe in it’. I want to make an Indian film, where I want to work with talent from Bollywood. I want the directors to explore the talent from South India and make bigger movies, so that we have bigger budgets. And we will also get bigger numbers at the end of the day.”
With Ram Charan’s modest reply, the netizens and readers could not restrain but appreciating him as the man who has broken the world records, is really chivalrous and down to earth!
