Helmed by the visionary filmmaker SS Rajamouli, RRR turned out to be a global blockbuster and brought back glory to the Indian film industry. The sensational performances of Jr NTR and Ram Charan led the period-action flick to reach the Rs 1000 crore milestone of worldwide collections. On the other hand, the Hindi version of RRR minted above Rs. 200 cr at the boxoffices.
On the occasion, Producer Dr. Jayantilal Gada, who distributed the Hindi version of RRR, arranged a grand success meet of RRR on Wednesday, April 6 in Mumbai. The RRR team including the director and the hero duo were the attendees, while biggies like Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji, Javed Akhtar, Huma Qureshi and Rakhi Sawant represented Bollywood.
Speaking on the occasion, Aamir Khan disclosed, “I am hearing all good things about RRR and I feel people cannot stop gushing about the movie. Every time someone praises the epic, I call Rajamouli ji and I can hear the happiness in his voice.”

Rajamouli then revealed that he and Aamir had made an agreement that neither of them would call each other ‘sir’ or ‘ji’. Jakkanna also shared that the Ghajini star had forced him to address him as ‘AK’. The Baahubali filmmaker complained that now Aamir has broken their agreement, referring to him as ‘ji’. Then the 3 Idiots star immediately reacted and said “Oh sorry. You are Raja, actually, the real Raja Hindustani as you are now loved all over India.”
