The versatile actor Dhanush is currently juggling his brother Selvaraghavan’s Naane Varuven, which is nearing completion and his Tollywood debut Sir, directed by Venky Atluri. Dhanush’s first direct Telugu movie is produced by Sithara Entertainments in association with Fortune Four Cinemas. Meanwhile, the Maari actor sent his birthday wishes to Venky Atluri.
Dhanush took to social media and shared an interesting BTS picture of him and Venky with a heartfelt caption, “Wishing a very happy birthday to Venky Atluri, director of my first Tamil/Telugu bilingual Vaathi / Sir. God bless you venky. Have a blast.”

On the workfront, Dhanush also has many other promising ventures in his kitty. In Selvaraghavan’s Naane Varuven, he will be essaying a double role. The Why This Kolaveri Di singer will also be a part of the Hollywood film, The Gray Man, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.
In Sir, Dhanush romances Samyuktha Menon while Saikumar and Tanikella Bharani are seen in key characters. The movie is reportedly about a young man’s fight against the privatisation of the current education system. Given Dhanush’s popularity in Tollywood, Sir is expected to bag good results in Telugu.
