SS Rajamouli ‘s prestigious venture RRR: Ranam Roudram Rudhiram is turning out to be the biggest movie of this year. With worldwide collections stretching to Rs 500 crore within three days, RRR starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan stands high as an example of a blockbuster. The Hindi version of the film has also done amazingly well.
Recently, Karan Johar praised team RRR for making such a spectacle come true. Now, Salman Khan also joined the fan club of RRR and spoke about the success of RRR.
At IIFA Awards 2022 event, Salman Khan mentioned his film Godfather with Chiranjeevi and explained how South Indian films are different from Bollywood. He praised Ram Charan’s performance in RRR and said, “It has been a wonderful experience working with him. I have known Chiru Garu for the longest time. He has also been a friend. His son (Ram Charan) is also a friend of mine. He has done such a fantastic job in RRR. I just wished him on his birthday, and on the success of his film. I am very proud of him. It feels so good that he is doing so well.”
On the other hand, Salman wondered why Hindi films were not doing so well in South India whereas their films are doing so well here (Bollywood). The Dabangg actor praised the writers and directors of South films. He also urged that such a time should come for South Indian film industries to remake Bollywood films again.
