King Nagarjuna and Karthi starrer Telugu movie Oopiri, is the story of a peculiar bond developed between a millionaire and successful entrepreneur, but is paraplegic and a convict was hired as his caretaker. Together, how they help each other to overcome their struggles and develop an unlikely bond that makes the crux of the comedy-emotional drama. Oopiri released in 2016 on the same day, March 25th.

Oopiri is a feel good film directed by Vamshi Paidipally. It is the remake of French film, The Intouchables, produced by Prasad V. Potluri in Telugu. The film stars Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamannaah in lead roles while Prakash Raj, Ali, Vivek, and Jayasudha play supporting roles. Karthi debuts in Telugu cinema through this film. Gopi Sunder is the music director. Nag’s excellent performance as a paralysed person in Oopiri received critics’ acclaims and fans’ accolades as well!
