The maverick director, Ram Gopal Varma, announced today that Sandalwood Star, Upendra, and he are coming together for an action film. The Shiva director’s announcement created quite a buzz in the movie circles. RGV took to social media to announce that he is doing a movie with Kannada hero, Upendra. Titled as R, the movie will be bankrolled by A Square productions, as per the announcement.

Ram Gopal Varma, who made his Kannada debut with Killer Veerappan, wrote, “Happy to announce my film with @nimmaupendra titled R based on an incredibly unique gangster in the criminal history of india ..It’s produced by A Square productions” and attached a motion poster of Upendra with intence look.
With the announcement about the RGV-Upendra collaboration, there were a lot of reactions from fans, especially calling it a crazy combination. As per the sources, the director and the super star have been in discussion for quite some time about their upcoming project. However, it is yet to be decided when the project will go on floors.
