RRR Is An Emotional And Action Drama, Says The Cinematographer Senthil Kumar

RRR is going to be a visual wonder for sure, as known from the shots in the trailer and the other promos.  The magnum opus film is directed by the perfectionist SS Rajamouli.  It is very tough to work with Rajamouli, as said by the lead actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan.  Now comes the same words from the cinematographer Senthil Kumar about the director.  Senthil recently shared his experience of working with SS Rajamouli for RRR.

Speaking about the film RRR, Senthil Kumar said that the combination of SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan itself created enough buzz for the film.  Also, Senthil said that he too never expected that this trio would be making a film together and he felt a lot of excitement when Rajamouli narrated the story and revealed the lead cast to him.  Speaking about the professionalism of the trio, Senthil said that Rajamouli is a master in handling such huge projects as RRR.  Rajamouli maintained the perfect balance between the characters of Komuram Bheem and Alluri SItarama Raju, and the actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan gave their career-best performances to justify those characters.

“The shoot of RRR happened in a process.  Firstly, SS Rajamouli came up with a few concept arts.  Then, he made pre-visualization of the scenes, and then finally he did testing, like rehearsals with the assistant directors.  Later after everything looked fine, then we used to go to sets for the main shoot with the lead actors,” said Senthil Kumar about filming for RRR.

Quoting about RRR on a single note, Senthil Kumar said, “RRR is an emotional and action drama together”.

RRR is going to be released on 25th March 2022 in multiple languages worldwide in theatres.  The film unit also confirmed that the film is going to be released in 3D too.  The advance bookings have opened already and it looks like the film is going to set a new record at the box office with the huge openings on the release day itself.
