One of the top class celebrities of Telugu film industry, Mahesh Babu’s name is often associated with charity and generosity. This Superstar serves the needy through his foundation. This Srimanthudu actor now comes forward to treat children who cannot afford congenital heart diseases. For this, Mahesh teamed up with the Rainbow Children’s Heart Institute (RCHI) to launch the Pure Little Hearts Foundation (PLHF) to provide heart care for children. In India, more than 200,000 children are born every year with congenital heart disease. As a part of this initiative, the economically-challenged children with congenital heart diseases would get treated at PLHF through the Mahesh Babu Foundation.
Speaking at the launching event of Pure Little Hearts Foundation today, Mahesh Babu disclosed, “I am very excited to launch the Pure Little Hearts Foundation. Children have always been very close to my heart. I am glad to support children who are in need of cardiac care at RCHI through the Mahesh Babu Foundation. Tiny hearts deserve the greatest care.”
Earlier too, Mahesh Babu facilitated heart surgeries for more than 1000 children at Andhra Hospital through the Mahesh Babu Foundation. Mahesh is also affiliated with the Heal a Child Foundation, which aims to support sick children belonging to poor families.
On the other hand, Mahesh adopted the villages of Burripalem in Andhra Pradesh and Siddapuram in Telangana. The Mahesh Babu Foundation has taken over the responsibility of providing necessary infrastructure such as bus shelters, toilets, construction of classrooms, restoration and provision of school aids in these villages.
