After multiple postponements, finally Varun Tej’s upcoming film Ghani gets a release date. The film was earlier postponed due to the COVID scare. Later it got postponed again to avoid a face off with Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak. With the biggies Radhe Shyam and RRR setting release dates in March, Varun Tej moved to April for the release of Ghani.
The makers of the film Ghani announced the finalised release date of the film on 2nd March. Varun Tej is going to hit the big screens on 8th April as stated by the makers. The production company Renaissance Pictures posted the same on their official Twitter handle. “Mega Prince Varun Tej’s Ghani is all set to hit the screens on April 8th,” the makers wrote.

The film Ghani belongs to the sports drama genre. This is the first time Varun Tej is seen as a professional boxer in his career. The film is written and directed by debutant Kiran Korrapati. Siddhu Mudda and Allu Bobby produced the film under the banner of Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company. Saiee Manjrekar is the lead actress. The film also has a star cast of Jagapathi Babu, Upendra, Suniel Shetty and Naveen Chandra in the supporting roles. Tamannaah Bhatia did a special song. Thaman S composed the music for the film.
