The biggest blockbuster of Indian Cinema in the year 2021, Pushpa: The Rise starring Allu Arjun bags the Film Of The Year award at Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022 that was held on 20th February.
The awards were announced online and the official account of Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards wrote about the film Pushpa: The Rise on winning the film of the year award. “Congratulations to Pushpa: The Rise for winning the award for Film Of The Year at Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022. Your hard work and perseverance have paid off,” wrote DPIFF Awards pon Instagram.

Pushpa: The Rise was written and directed by Sukumar. Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna played the lead actors and Fahadh Faasil played a crucial role in the film. The film was produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. Muttamsetty Media is also associated in the production of the film. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music.
Pushpa: The Rise is the highest grossing film in India in 2021. The film got a collection of more than 365 crores. Besides getting a huge box office collection, the film also gained huge applause from many celebrities and the public across India. The film’s second part is under pre-production as of now and soon it will be going to sets.
