An youthful entertainer and upcoming romantic drama Virgin Story is going to hit the big screens on 18th February, 2022. Vikram Sahidev and Sowmika Pandiyan are the lead actors in the film. Pradip B Atluri is the director. Lagadapati Sridhar produced the film under the banner of Ramalakshmi Cine Creations.
As a part of promoting the film, Lagadapati Sridhar spoke about the film Virgin Story in an interview. He spoke about the debut of his son Vikram as the lead actor, about the content of Virgin Story and his upcoming projects.
Sridhar said that he started the production in 2005 to make some good films with content as the priority more than the commerciality as he was not much connected to the regular commercial cinema. That was the reason he took some gap in the recent past and decided to make the film Virgin Story which has a very satisfactory content prior to the commercial fillings.
Sridhar also said that he decided to launch his son Vikram Sahidev as a lead actor with Virgin Story because the content of the film would be a perfect setup for Vikram’s launch as he was just 18 years old at the time the film was started.
Sridhar also cleared the air about the content of Virgin Story being an adult one. He confirmed that the film is neither about the virginity of the heroine nor the hero’s. The film has nothing to do with virginity. It is the purity and unpredictability behind the thoughts of the teenagers presented with a soul. The same soul will be delivered to the audience in the film and they will carry it to their homes. Virgin Story is such a clean film, said the producer.
Sridhar said that the idea of Virgin Story was drawn from the personal experiences of the director Pradip B Atluri. Also, the director had taken a few references from the Hollywood films Kissing Booth, Before Sunrise, 10 Things I Hate About You, Through My Window and John Tucker Must Die.
Sridhar is currently in talks with the actor Naveen Polishetty to make the part two of the blockbuster entertainer Evadi Gola Vaadidi. He is waiting for the actor’s acceptance. Sridhar also has a subject based on the art of dance which would get some shape soon.
The targeted audience for Virgin Story is youngsters, but the family audience too can enjoy the film without any complaints, assured the producer Lagadapati Sridhar.
