Adipurush’s Release Date Shifted And Likely To Be Released For Diwali

The most awaited Pan-Indian Hindu Mythological film is Adipurush. The film is based on the heroics of Lord Rama and the epic Ramayana. The film’s shoot was started on 2nd February, 2021. The makers of the film wrapped the shoot of the film by 10th November, 2021. Also they announced that the film would be released on 11th August, 2022.

The team of Adipurush are currently in the post production works. The makers are planning to release the film in every possible Indian language. Also, the film would be released in few International languages. Meanwhile, the makers of the film Laal Singh Chaddha could not finish the film in time due to COVID and they are looking for an alternative date for the release of their film. They approached T-Series, the makers of Adipurush and requested for the adjustment of the release date. Bhushan Kumar and Om Raut, the director and producer of Adipurush respectively, accepted the request and shifted the release date of Adipurush. The makers of Laal Singh Chaddha mentioned the same on their Twitter handle.

Now, the makers of the film Adipurush are in the search of a new release date. It is evident from the sources of the film that the makers are likely to lock the release date for Diwali. As Diwali 2022 falls on 24th October (Monday), the makers might opt the nearby date for the release so that the preceding weekend too adds for the release. Also, Prabhas’s birthday is on 23rd October. So Adipurush might release in between the dates of October 21st to 24th. However, these are all according to the sources and the official statement needs to be made by the makers.

Adipurush is directed by Om Raut. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair under the banners of T-Series and Retrophiles. The film is mounted on a huge budget of 500 crores. Adipurush is the most expensive film of India. The film stars Prabhas in the titular role. Kriti Sanon played Sita and Saif Ali Khan played Lankesh.
