Kannada beauty Sreeleela is playing a homely sweet girl in Ravi Teja’s upcoming movie Dhamaka. After making a successful debut with Pelli SandaD in Tollywood, Sreeleela is roped in to share the screen with the Mass Maharaja. She is on cloud nine for being part of the journey of this Trinadha Rao Nakkina directorial.
“The film is the best platform for the humorous angle in me. I have worked hard on comic quotient to get into the groove,” she elaborated. She also revealed her love towards playing comic roles. While detailing that Ravi Teja’s comic timing was very inspiring, Sreeleela added that she also learnt a lot of tips and cues from him, which she felt was a real time learning experience.
Sreeleela plays Pranavi in Dhamaka, a role that travels along with the protagonist throughout the film. “It is tough for heroines to get such big and important roles in commercial cinema, but I am fortunate that I got it. Ravi Teja‘s comic timing is impeccable, I am lucky enough to get an opportunity to work with him at the beginning of my career,” she said with twinkling eyes.
Although Sreeleela was born in the US, she moved to India. She is currently pursuing medicine in Bengaluru. In fact, she has done a couple of Kannada films before debuting in Tollywood. Even before she appeared on the Tollywood screens, she acted in two most anticipated Kannada movies, Kiss and Bharate starring opposite Sri Murali. Along with acting career, she is also studying for a medical degree.

Vishwa Prasad bankrolled the commercial entertainer under the banners of People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts. Bheems Ceciroleo composed the music score.
