Megastar of the Film Industry and Member of Parliament Chiranjeevi visited Ayyappa Swamy temple in Sabarimala on Sunday along with his wife Surekha. The actor shared photos of the Sabarimala pilgrimage on Twitter and informed he had visited Sabarimala after many years. After the holy visit or Darshan, he humbly thanked the people for being the reason behind his pilgrimage going safe and comfortable.
“After a long time I visited Sabarimala Ayyappa Swami. However, due to the rush of devotees and the onslaught of fans, they had to reach Swami Sannidhi in a doli instead of walking. My heartfelt condolences to the Dolly brothers who are pouring out their efforts for the devotees of Swami Punya Darshan. Chukkapalli Suresh and Gopi’s families had a good time on this journey.”, the Megastar wrote on Twitter.

This year, the Ayyappa Swamy Temple was inaugurated on Saturday evening for devotees. The temple remains open till the 17th of this month. It may be recollected that Chiranjeevi habitually took deeksha and visited Lord Ayyappa many times. His son Ram Charan also wore Ayyappa Swami Mala and followed his father. However, during the Mandala Puja and Makarjyoti, the crowds of devotees are high. Unable to make it at that time, the couple went on a trip to Sabarimala. On this occasion the Megastar especially thanked the Dolly workers who joined Dolly in Sabarimala and made their trip successful.
