Sarkaru Vaari Paata was the first film to quit the Pongal race. Credit to the superstar Mahesh Babu for taking such a positive step to create a healthy environment and competition in the Telugu film industry. As Pan-Indian films RRR and Radhe Shyam were in the lineup for Pongal then, Mahesh took this action postponing his film. Sarkaru Vaari Paata was moved to 1st April, 2022 as announced then.
But now with the tight schedule of all the big films planning the releases for Summer, there were many changes in the release dates. The film Sarkaru Vaari Paata was postponed once again and is finally locked for the release on 12th May, 2022.
As the release date is getting closer, the makers of the film planned to start the promotions from February itself. As announced earlier, the first single from the film is going to be released on 14th February on the occasion of Valentine’s day. The music director of the film, S Thaman already said that the song would be a special one filled with love. Also, it would be the love anthem of the year, he said.
S Thaman recently posted another update on his Twitter handle about the song. “It is February and you all know how exciting it is going to be,” he wrote on Twitter.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata is directed by Parasuram and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta are also the part of production under the banner of 14 Reels Plus. Mahesh Babu himself is co-producing the film under the banner of GMB Entertainments.
