Hadn’t the COVID 19 third wave caused the surge in Omicron cases in India, Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR: Roudram Ranam Rudhiram would have already hit the theatres. But the situation turned turtle as the film’s release got postponed indefinitely. Speaking at the pre-release event of upcoming Telugu film Rowdy Boys, Ram Charan shared his feelings for the first time on RRR’s postponement.
“We couldn’t release RRR this Sankranthi season. But I am not too worried. We worked incessantly for three and a half years with an aim to release the film at the right time. Bigheads of Tollywood like Rajamouli and EVV Danayya garu will take the final call on the release date.” Ram Charan said. The SS Rajamouli directorial was earlier slated to release on January 7.

It is noteworthy that RRR is one of the high budgeted pan Indian movies. An optimal release time is the key to justify the investments the producers put on the film.
On the work front, Ram Charan is busy with RC15, a political thriller directed by Shankar. He is also associated with Gautam Tinnanuri for RC16. Coming to Rowdy Boys, Dil Raju’s nephew Ashish Reddy and Anupama Parameswaran are seen in the lead roles, which is scheduled to release tomorrow, on 14th January.
