The special dance number Oo Antawa Mawa .. Oo Antawa in Pushpa: The Rise, featuring Samantha and Allu Arjun is rocking YouTube. Since its release, the item song has been gaining millions of views and is trending on charts. But the super hit song is making headlines for not so good reasons as well. Despite the popularity of the song not only in Telugu but also in other languages, controversies have blossomed.
While a section of the internet was impressed by it, some didn’t approve of the song’s lyrics. Many men are outraged alleging it contains lyrics that demean the male gender. In this context, the Tamil version lyrics writer of the song- Viveka responded to the controversy over the song Oo Antawa.
“Only a handful of men objected to the song. Most of the people are enjoying it in the theaters.”, VIveka said. On the other hand, it is known that Allu Arjun has also reacted to this controversy in the recently held Pushpa promotions. “He (the lyricist) wrote the same lyrics in the song that we see in society right now. They are almost reflecting real life.”, the Icon Star explained.
However, the Samantha and Pushpa team is too happy with all the love that her fans and audience showered on her for Oo Antava.
