In a career spanning nearly 20 years, Allu Arjun has seen many highs and lows. Now the much-awaited mass actioner Pushpa: The Rise is expected to make a resounding opening in theatres. Labelled as one of the most-hyped movies in the recent months, the industry pinned high hopes on the flick’s performance at the box office. On the other hand, this action flick topped IMDB’s list of Most anticipated Indian movies and shows with 45.8 page views. Pushpa revolves around the red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. It is the story of a man named Pushpa. Pushpa is a jolly, family film, meant for mass entertainment. The plot revolves around a character named Srivalli played by South diva Rashmika Mandanna. Bunny’s character impersonates a lorry driver, who is also a redwood smuggler.
Bunny’s Raw and Rustic Look
Pushpa Raj’s character speaks in the Chittoor dialect. To master it, Allu Arjun practiced dialogue delivery four to five hours every day for three months. It would take two hours to wear makeup and another 45 minutes to remove it. Sukumar showcased our dear Allu Arjun in a mass avatar. His amazing dance moves, action and complete de-glamour appeal made his character worth watching.
The film was shot at the Maredumilli forests near Rajahmundry. The forests out there are shown in a way which was never seen before. The film was shot at a few locations that were impossible to reach by road. In fact, there was no road for a couple of kilometers. To ease the travel, the producers even went to the extent of building roads. It used to take over two hours to reach the shooting spot. The unit spent about the whole three years in the woods. In addition to that a total of 25 breathtaking sets were cast for Pushpa’s film.

A dance number from the film titled Oo Antava… Oo Oo Antava has been a subject of discussion across social media ever since it hit the internet. It is learned that the makers have spent around Rs 5 crore for this song. The special item is very much welcomed by movie lovers.
The high octane action sequences involve actors Dhanunjaya, Shatru, Sunil alongside Allu Arjun. Speculations are Fahadh Faasil’s performance will be thrilling. There is one action sequence in the film, which is reported to have costed ₹6 crore. “It’s hard to describe it in words. Considering it’s high on emotion, I’m not sure if it’s right to call it a ‘fight scene’ either.” opined Allu Arjun. Sukumar’s regular collaborator Devi Sri Prasad was roped in to compose the score and soundtrack of the film. As promised Devi Sri Prasad delivered an awesome music score for the movie. Eyy Bidda Idhi Naa Adda, Dakko Dakko Meka are complete mass numbers, while another single Saami Saami created buzz on social media. Samantha’s OO Antava created vibes in the hearts of music lovers. Srivalli is another melodious song.
