Movie fans across the country are eagerly awaiting the release of the blockbuster periodic movie RRR-Roudram Ranam Rudhiram. Meanwhile the RRR team attended a press meet in Bengaluru today. On the occasion, Jr NTR sang Kannada song Geleya Geleya in remembrance of his best friend Puneeth Rajkumar and got very emotional. It was a very special song for him, the actor shared.
In fact, Puneeth’s sudden demise is still unacceptable to Jr. NTR. Thus, he became very emotional. Jr NTR said, “His blessings are upon me wherever he may be. Before I never revealed that this song is for Puneet Rajkumar. This is the first and last song that I sing only for my dearest friend.” Thus Puneet, fondly called Appu by his fans, was honored at the event. This video, showing the deep bond between Puneet and Jr. NTR is going viral now.

Jr. NTR lent his voice for the Geleya Geleya song in the movie Chakravyuha, which had Puneeth Rajkumar in the lead role. Geleya Geleya was Jr NTR’s singing debut in Kannada. In Telugu also he shot to fame with the hit number Olammi Thikka Regindha from Yamadonga. He also lent his voice to songs in the Telugu movies like Kantri, Adhurs, Oosaravelli, Rabhasa and Nannaku Prematho and all of them became big hits.
The NTR family and the Rajkumar family have a close relationship. When Puneeth Rajkumar who passed away, Jr NTR reached Bengaluru to pay homage. Director S S Rajamouli, Alia Bhatt, Ram Charan and other team members also attended the RRR press meet.
