The Bigg Boss Telugu season 5 has entered into the end of seventh week and the drama is only getting much more intense. This week’s captaincy contender task got intense as Sunny and Priya got into an ugly spat. Jesse, Shanmukh and Siri got into a rift. Let us dive into the highlights of day 47.
Today’s episode started with a fun task hosted by Colgate. The contestants had to share their personal journey with the remaining contestants and express the moments which inspired confidence in them. All the contestants unanimously agreed Jesse’s journey was moving and he was deemed winner of the challenge. In the meanwhile, Bigg Boss announced the captaincy task. The contesting housemates have a balloon tied to them and a pin is placed in a box on a pedestal in the garden area. The remaining housemates had to rush to get the pin as soon as the buzzer sounded and hand the pin over to the contestant they were supporting who then had the power to burst the other contending housemates’ balloon. Vishwa unfortunately burst his ouen balloon while running away from Kajal. Anchor Ravi burst Maanas’ and RJ Kajal’s balloon. Anee Master took the last pin and handed it over to Sunny, who became the captain for this week by bursting Anchor Ravi’s balloon.

After being made the house captain, Sunny adorned his captain costume and buried hatchets with Priya and all the other contestants. The episode ended with a promo of tomorrow’s episode where the elimination process will begin.
