“Aakashavaani” Telugu Movie Review:
Story:
In an agency area from the bygone era, the villagers are governed by a king Dora (Vinay Verma.) They haven’t ever come across a stranger all through their life. Dora’s tribal chief Sambadu makes the lives of the villagers more miserable. The story leaps when the school teacher Chandram master (Samuthirakani) comes into the picture to make the tribe realize the facts. And how they have worshipped a god with the voice and wished for their rescue.
Performances:
The kid in the movie has surely matched the theatre actors and the versatile actor’s performances. Samuthirakani is at his best and pours life into his character. Vinay Verma as the king fits the role very aptly, and Teja Kakumanu as the antagonist made his presence a worthwhile watch.
Highlights:
Aakashavaani is a unique plot line, which is surely an experimental film for a debutant director. But, Ashwin Gangaraju the director with the well scripted screenplay made it all work. The art department surely has done tremendous work by setting up a beautiful tribal backdrop. Music by Kaalabhairava was top-notch.
Verdict:
