Sai Dharam Tej, nephew of Megastar Chiranjeevi made his mark in the industry with his commercial hits like Subramanyam for sale (2015,) and Chitralahari (2019.) His last movie Solo Brathuke So Better (2020) in which he acted alongside Nabha Natesh was released right after the first wave of Coronavirus. The movie was a hit at the box office even with just 50% occupancy. In a very short span, he is all set to release his next movie Republic.
In the movie Republic, he will be seen in the role of a district collector as Panja Abhiram. The movie wrapped up shooting well before the second lockdown and the release was postponed to October 1st. In the latest, the makers revealed that the movie underwent censor scrutiny and was certified U/A. Director Deva Katta mentioned the same in his Twitter post. Check out his tweet below

Republic is a political thriller drama, written and directed by Deva Katta. Aishwarya Rajesh will be seen in the lead role opposite Sai Dharam Tej. J. Bhagawan and J. Pullarao under the banner JB Entertainments. Tunes are composed by Mani Sharma. Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishna along with Vennela Kishore will be seen in supporting roles. The movie was originally scheduled to release on June 3rd but was postponed to October 1st. Sai Dharam Tej on the other hand recently met with an unfortunate road accident and is recovering from the same. We at Telugu Filmnagar pray for his speedy recovery.
