In a recent interview with Film Companion, he dished about the much anticipated Rajamouli directorial RRR and also Rajamouli’s potential project with Mahesh Babu. Vijayendra Prasad stated “Since the Coronavirus pandemic started, nothing has been solidified about the project. Just a few months ago, Rajamouli just said that he wants to do a movie with a backdrop of Africa and adventure.” He added “I am trying to explore the adventure genre and come up with a story. Rajamouli and I are huge fans of Wilbur Smith’s novels (sic.)”
