Kajal Aggarwal is one of the most beautiful actresses in the south Indian film industries. Kajal grew in fame massively since her debut with Lakshmi Kalyanam in 2007. The actress acted alongside top actors in all the south Indian film industries and Bollywood also. She is now ready to entertain the audience with a Bollywood movie titled Uma.
The second wave of Coronavirus has been subsiding a bit due to the aggressive vaccination happening all over the country. Lockdown 2.0 has been lifted and makers have started shooting for their movies at a rapid pace. Kajal Aggarwal has started shooting for her new movie Uma in Kolkata. Speaking in a recent media interaction about the movie and her role, she said “I have recently signed Uma. It’s a Mary Poppins kind of film, where fantasy meets reality and I play the title role of Uma and I am currently preparing for it. I keep having a lot of Zoom discussions with my director to understand how he envisages the character. Uma is basically a ray of sunshine and helps people deal with their problems through folktales. That’s what my character is in a nutshell. There are several layers and dimensions to Uma but I won’t be able to divulge much right now. (sic.)”
Uma is directed by Tathagata Singha and is produced under the banners AVMA Media and Miraj Creations. On the other hand, Kajal is currently working on the much anticipated movie Acharya opposite Megastar Chiraneevi. Koratala Siva is the director. Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde will be seen in pivotal roles. Acharya is produced by Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy under the Konidela Productions and Matinee Entertainments banners respectively. Kajal is also working on a Tamil horror comedy Ghosty.
