On his journey towards justice, he loses his dear sister and father (Chandra Mohan) due to the greed of doctors and hospitals. Venkatesh’s role as the aggressive young journalist was spot on. The dialogue, “any time, any centre, single hand, Ganesh,” brought the roof down at theatres. Venkatesh received the South Indian Filmfare Award for the Best Actor (Telugu) for his role in the film. The leading lady Rambha did a commendable job. Kota Srinivas Rao as an evil health minister rolled well in the role.
