Life will never be the same following the Coronavirus pandemic and its after effects. The industries world wide faced heavy losses due to the lockdown and film fraternity was no exception. The pandemic drastically affected the economy of film workers and distributors with the closure of theatres for more than a year. All the prominent persons in the industry are coming together to resolve the losses to the best of their abilities. Prominent actors like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna and many others took the initiative to form the Corona Crisis Charity (CCC.) The aim of the CCC is to fund money to help all the crew, technicians and families of film workers who were unemployed due to the pandemic.
In the latest, Corona Crisis Charity in collaboration with Chiranjeevi’s Charitable trust and Apollo 24/7 began a vaccination drive today. This drive aims to vaccinate all the crew members of the film industry, journalists and their families. On the professional front, Chiranjeevi is working for the much awaited movie of the year, Acharya. Kajal Aggarwal is the leading lady of the film. Acharya is jointly produced by Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy under the Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainment banners respectively. Acharya was slated to release on 13th May, 2021. Keeping in mind the current second wave of Coronavirus, the makers postponed the movie’s release. The new release date will be announced soon.
