Samantha is a star that needs no introduction. Since her debut in the film industry with Ye Maaya Chesave (2010), she has charmed both the Telugu and Tamil audiences with her roles. This talented beauty took up challenging roles which expanded her barriers as an actor. This time, the actress is all set to play an unusual role in the popular web series The Family Man Season 2.
The Family Man revolves around the life of Srikanth Tiwari, who works as a secret agent for the National Investigation Agency (NIA) of India. His job is to tackle any potential terrorist threats to the country. In the second season of this web series, Samantha will be seen in an antagonistic role as Raji. More details are to be revealed about her character. The makers of this web series Raj and DK, shared a picture of Samantha from the sets on her birthday. The trailer of the season 2 of The Family Man will be out on 19th May and the series will premiere in June. Raj and DK have picked Samantha for this role after her performance in the movie Super Deluxe (2019.)
On the other hand Samantha is working on two projects. She is working alongside Vijay Sethupathi in Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal. Samantha is also working on the mythological drama movie Shakuntalam directed by Gunasekhar. Shakuntalam is jointly produced by Gunaa Teamworks and Sri Venkateswara creations by Dil Raju.
