With the sudden surge of cases due to the Coronavirus pandemic, entertainment industries across the country are struggling hard at the moment. In the latest, Dhanush starrer Karnan, the much awaited movie was released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video on 14th May, 2021. The movie was initially released in theatres on 9th April, 2021 and audiences have been waiting for it’s OTT release since then.
As soon as Karnan was released, the audiences across the world watched the movie and showered their love on social media. Touted to be a strong action drama in the background of a village, Karnan continues to receive plaudits from the audience. In the latest, Kalyani Priyadarshan, the gorgeous beauty of South Indian cinema shared her thoughts about Karnan. Kalyani took to her Instagram yesterday and penned her disappointment. Her note read “I was disappointed when I missed Karnan in the theaters, but I finally managed to watch it today on @primevideoin … There are some films you watch that make you proud to be in this industry and proud of your craft. This was one such film. How does @dhanushkraja sir manage to be so brilliant time and time again.. There were moments when I felt disturbed, intrigued and amazed at the same time. But in fact, isn’t that what good cinema does? #karnanonprime (sic.)”
