In between the action drama, Gabbar Singh’s romance track with Bhagya Lakshmi (Shruti Haasan) rolls well. How Gabbar Singh brings peace to Kondaveedu and justice to his mother’s death forms an admirable plot.

Pawan Kalyan’s role as Gabbar Singh, a witty and ruthless cop is spot on. All the eccentricities and punch dialogues like “Naku Nene Poti Naku Nathone Poti, Natho Poti Evaru Raru Raleru” brought the vintage Pawan Kalyan back on the big screen. Shruti Haasan as an innocent village girl Bhagya Laksmhi did a splendid performance and marked her first super hit with Gabbar Singh. Abhimanyu Singh as Siddappa Naidu, a power hungry goon cleverly paving way for his political career, rolled well in the antagonist role. The ongoing comedy track of Brahmanadam and Ali was entertaining. The sensational music by Devi Sri Prasad and the songs are still the favourites among youth. 9 Years on, Gabbar Singh still remains to be a massive hit with a power packed performance and the most loved commercial hit of Telugu audience till date.
