Tatineni Prakash Rao is one of the renowned directors in the beginning era of Telugu cinema. Born in the Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh, T. Prakash Rao worked as assistant director for classic films like Shavukar(1950) and marked his directorial debut with Pitchi Pullaiah (1953,) and Jayam Manade(1956.) He collaborated with N.T. Rama Rao and Akkineni Nageswara Rao for many movies and delivered super hits. Besides being a prominent personality in Telugu industry, T. Prakash Rao also directed popular classic movies like Suraj (1966,) and Izzat(1968) in Bollywood.
Prominent director T. Prakash Rao’s wife Tatineni Annapurna succumbed to death due to COVID 19. At the age of 91, Tatineni Annapurna took her last breath in the wee hours of Sunday. As an era of cinema ends with her, the entire cine industry is mourning over her loss.

T.L.V Prasad son of T. Prakash Rao and Annapurna is one of the popular directors in Indian cinema. He is well known for his works in Telugu, Hindi and Bengal languages. He predominantly worked with Balakrishna, Chiranjeevi and Mithun Chakraborty. T.L.V Prasad entered into the Limca Book of World Records for his impeccable delivery of movies constantly. Tatineni Satya the grandson of T. Praskash Rao and Annapurna entered into Telugu film industry and marked his debut with Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu(2010) featuring Nani.
