Malayalam movie Drishyam 2 the sequel starring Mohanlal released on OTT and received a monumental response across the country this year. Jeethu Joseph who stunned everyone once again with his gripping storyline received plaudits from the audience and critics alike. Following the massive success, Drishyam 2 is officially getting a Hindi remake starring Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran and Tabu in the lead roles.
Kumar Mangat Pathak from Panorama Studio International bagged the Hindi remake rights today. Adding further he expressed his joy about the remake and said “ Drishyam 2 received a massive response from everyone and the story needs to be told with such commitment. We as producers are committed to deliver such efforts(sic.)”
Antony Perumbavoor the Malayalam producer of Drishyam 2 expressed his appreciation for Panorama Studio and said “ We are happy Panorama studio bagged the rights for Hindi remake and we are certain that production house will rightly justify the story and garners wide audience(sic.)” Jeethu Joseph, director of Drishyam 2 said “ The story of Drishyam 2 received a warm response. We are glad that panorama bagged the rights and will attract a wide audience with the Hindi remake and looking forward to it(sic.)”

Drishyam was considered one of the best thrillers of Indian cinema for its intriguing plot. The Telugu and Hindi remake did extremely well at the box office and was lauded by critics and audience alike. The story of the film was based on a man who goes to great lengths to cover up the murder committed by his wife and elder daughter. Six years later, Drishyam 2 is coming back in Telugu and Hindi and the fans are excited.
