The Coronavirus cases are growing at an exponential rate each day while shortage of vaccine doses and over occupied hospitals is the reality of our country. The government recently implemented new rules to control the virus and many measures are being taken nationwide. However, the second wave does not seem to be subsiding anytime soon.
In the light of the present situation, the Mega Star Chiranjeevi started a Coronavirus vaccination drive for the people of the Telugu film industry. This drive aims to vaccinate all the cinema workers and cinema journalists above the age of 45 for free of cost. Chiranjeevi took to social media to share this news. This vaccination drive will provide free vaccination at the Apollo hospitals and also have a free consultation with their doctors for 3 months through the Apollo 247 online portal. On the work front, the Mega Star is working on the much awaited Acharya. Koratala Siva is directing the movie. Popular actress Kajal Aggarwal is the leading lady. Acharya is said to be an action movie, which is jointly produced by Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy under the Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainment banners, respectively. Acharya will see a theatrical release this summer on 13 May 2021.
