Television host and actress Anasuya Bharadwaj is well known for her roles in Kshanam (2016) and Rangasthalam (2018). Her sassy look as Rangamma Atha shot her to popularity. After her remarkable performance in Rangasthalam, Anasuya is back on board for Sukumar’s Pushpa. As a surprise update, Anasuya took to Instagram and shared a picture showing her excitement on being a part of Pushpa. The picture shows Anasuya holding a clapboard and the details about the scene with Allu Arjun and Sukumar in the background. Pushpa will mark the third collaboration between Allu Arjun and director Sukumar. Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady of the film. The duo previously collaborated on films like Arya (2004) and Arya 2 (2009,) which became blockbusters at the box office. Pushpa takes place around the Chittoor forest region and is based on the backdrop of Red Sandalwood smuggling. The film also features Jagapathi Babu, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Vennela Kishore in supporting roles. Jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, the film’s music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Pushpa will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada in theatres on 13th August, 2021.
